Shop Local Ontario

Shop Local Ontario is a concept that aims to assist local companies connect with their customers and customers locate the products they want on a single platform. Clients kept coming to us urgently needing to sell their products online during the COVID-19 pandemic, but they were afraid of spending money when they weren’t making any.

As a result, we approached this website with two main points:

  • We’ll handle the ecommerce – it’s what we do best!
  • We aim to make shopping locally at small companies simple.

It should be simple to choose to shop locally. Because Ontario’s small farms, businesses, and producers need a stage to showcase their wares.

“Shop Local Ontario” brings an integrated stripe and hubspot to provide an online platform to farmers in Ontario Canada to sell their produce directly to consumers. The project goal is to provide the best quality and products in a great variety. Shop Local Ontario also aim to make their website the easiest way to find goods. This solution is designed particularly to provide easy and simple access to all the customers.

We’ve put in a lot of time researching and getting to know the industry, its practices, and the difficulties that come with running a business in it. Indeed, we have the experience necessary to produce a product that has attained a degree of maturity and stability.

WHAT WE DID

Design Process

The overall goal of the design process is to help designing better products, services, processes, user flows, and strategy.

Target Market

To be clear, our target market consists of farmers in Ontario, Canada and people who are looking for a reliable local shop for goods. The market also target on people who have never heard of you but would enjoy our items (meat, poultry, and pantry).

There are a slew of reasons to let shop local Ontario make the most of your shopping list, or to have us create one based on your preferences, client demographics, and more. Retail needs to be more strategic and cost-conscious than ever before, and we’re here to help.

We saturate our target market by obtaining a list of non-customer families in your trade area with optimal profile features such as homeownership, affluence, and home value. Shop Local Ontario can develop effective analytics and perform focused direct marketing by fixing, enhancing, and verifying incomplete client records.

Maintain contact with our consumers by updating your database with accurate addresses on a regular basis, even if they relocate. Append demographic attributes to customers and group them into look-alike groups to better segment and target them.

The best solution is to integrate online and offline marketing to drive more sales for farmers. Make payment process easy and reliable for farmers. Perform regular market analysis like SWOTs can help identify opportunities to attract new customers.

What They Really Want?

Have you ever had a bird’s eye perspective of how people buy in the vegetable section of the supermarket? Do they stick to their shopping list, buy goods that weren’t on their list, and compare prices? What draws people into the shop and aids them in making a produce selection after they’ve arrived in the section?

For both fruit and vegetable purchases, the research underlines the importance of freshness, quality, and pricing. Although viewing advertisements at home motivates customers to go to the store, the appearance of the produce has a significant impact on their decision. Six out of ten shoppers say they buy things that aren’t on the list. As a result, impulse buying is common in the produce department.

As technology advances, so are consumer expectations. Depending on your perspective, this might be a tremendous win or loss for furniture producers. Brands that have embraced new technology have established user-friendly e-commerce stores that supply high-quality furniture. Others have delayed modernizing their websites or opening online storefronts.

Empathy map is a collaborative tool that allows organizations to learn more about their customers. An empathy map, like a user persona, can represent a group of users, such as a consumer segment.

User Flow

The user flow is purposefully kept simple so that the magento user can perform their desired action without much effort.

Whether buying going from one city to another, famers can now sell their produce from their home. They get paid through online platform and as for user can navigate screen with minimal clicks.
